Inside the program

Real training, built for the real world

Building a Better Community, One Black Belt at a Time

Our vision is to build a better community by helping kids get in shape, stay safe, and develop the life skills and character of a true martial artist, courtesy, patience, respect, self-control, and integrity.

Discipline Equals Success

The success our Young Warriors achieve is supported by personal development: focus, goal setting, self-discipline, and of course confidence. Our program develops respectful, disciplined kids who carry these strengths home and into the classroom.

Real Skills, Real Confidence

Anti-bullying techniques, self-defense techniques, and anti-abduction techniques are all part of our well-rounded program. Even today, we still receive visits from young adults making their way positively through life with the same respect and confidence they learned here as kids.

Last year I enrolled him in Krav, and the results have been nothing short of incredible. Krav taught him balance and self-discipline, and gave his confidence, focus, and drive the boost he needed.

Offered at all of our five Front Range locations: Denver, Broomfield, Lakewood, Littleton, and Fort Collins. New to self-defense? Read our guide to choosing a self-defense school.

Questions, answered

Frequently asked questions

Are the classes safe?

Safety is our absolute top priority. Krav Maga is a self-defense system, which means our primary goal is teaching kids how to stay safe. Classes are strictly supervised, drills are highly controlled, and we use proper safety gear. We teach cooperative training, meaning students learn to be great partners who look out for one another, rather than competitors trying to win. (That's what makes us different than the normal Dojo!)

Will teaching my child self-defense make them aggressive?

This is a very common concern, but the reality is exactly the opposite. We teach children that true power comes from self-control and the ability to avoid physical conflict whenever possible. Krav Maga builds confidence, and confident kids are significantly less likely to feel the need to prove themselves or act out aggressively. We heavily emphasize respect, de-escalation, and using their voice as their very first line of defense.

My child is very shy and not naturally athletic. Will they fit in?

Absolutely. Our instructional methodology is designed to meet every child exactly where they are. We celebrate individual progress rather than comparing students to one another. The mat is an incredibly supportive environment; shy kids often find their voice and build tremendous self-esteem here, and the natural movements of our system don't require any prior athletic background to master.

What are the instructor qualifications?

Every instructor leading a youth class is a fully certified Krav Maga youth instructor who has undergone specific training in youth instruction and methodology. Furthermore, all of our staff members pass strict background checks, maintain current First Aid/CPR certifications, and participate in continuous professional development to ensure they are providing the best, safest experience possible.

What ages can join the kids program?

Our Young Warriors program is designed for kids ages 3 to 13. It builds confidence, discipline, and focus while teaching anti-bullying, self-defense, and anti-abduction skills in a fun, energetic environment.

Do I have to sign a long-term contract right away?

Absolutely not. Each one of our clients, you included, deserves choices that best fit each individuals situation and comfort level. Our base programs are month-to-month, cancel anytime with the only requirement being a 30-day notice. Beyond that, we do offer 6 or 12 month term memberships that have a few more perks and are discounted for the length of the commitment, but those are optional! Honestly, many people start in the base program and then opt for the discount after a month or two of amazing results!

Will Krav Maga help my child with bullying?

Yes. Anti-bullying techniques are a core part of our kids and teens programs, alongside self-defense and anti-abduction skills. Just as important, your child builds the confidence and self-discipline that help them handle challenges at school and beyond.

Do I need to get in shape before trying Krav Maga?

Not at all. All of our classes are self-paced, so you train at the level that's right for you. The best way to get ready for Krav Maga is to simply start doing Krav Maga, you'll improve fast.
